Providing Strategic and Nimble PR Support for a Private Equity Group’s Ventures
“Over the years I have worked with other public relations and marketing consultants… [but] none have brought the passion, devotion and energy to their work that is Carla’s standard operating procedure. She is unmatched in her persistence, drive and dedication.”
Principal, Net Effect Technologies, Inc.
It takes a nimble and creative team to go from a consumer products e-commerce start-up to a chemical industry B2B search engine, from a retrospective of the work of a Los Angeles artist to a program of classical music in support of local Jewish educational institutions.
And all for one client.
iMinds PR partners with Net Effect Technologies, Inc. (www.neteffecttech.com), a small private equity group that makes investments in and plays a management role in a variety of business ventures. iMinds PR provides strategic PR services as needed for a variety of organizations affiliated with the firm and principal Yudie Fishman’s philanthropic foundation – both of which often include smaller organizations or artists who need a creative and nimble approach to match their creative and nimble budgets.
Projects have included promoting a retrospective of the Los Angeles Jewish artist Milton Hirschel at Los Angeles’ Skirball Cultural Center and Museum, and publicizing an evening of chamber music featuring the internationally renowned Ariel Quartet as part of a major fundraising effort on behalf of the Weizmann School of Pasadena, California.
At the other end of the topical spectrum, Carla and her team helped Net Effects promotewww.ChemIndustry.com, the leading comprehensive directory and search engine for chemical and related industry professionals. Carla and her team absorbed themselves in this highly specialized field, securing visibility in the industry’s top journals and trade magazine, and leading a media tour that resulted in new business for the company.
In all of these projects Fishman said Carla and her team went above and beyond to truly know the companies and their audiences – even visiting an artist’s widow to gain an understanding of his work, and meeting with and listening to musicians to be able to speak their language and to translate that language to the general public. Carla and the iMinds PR team don’t consider this “above and beyond” at all. It’s what they do.
