String Theory Productions
In 2010 String Theory Productions (http://www.stringtheoryproductions.com/) a unique ensemble of musicians, dancers and visual artists, partnered with iMinds PR to promote their performances and expand their audience.
String Theory is a great example of how the iMinds Starter Pack helps smaller companies or non-profits get expert PR advice and be actively involved in the process. Moreover, it has resulted in a dynamic and productive collaboration.
String Theory did not have a big PR budget but they had performances to promote, theatre seats to fill and a clear message to communicate. They opted to go with the Starter Pack because it reduced their costs and allowed them to participate more fully in the process. We allowed their vision and message to resonate while working together in developing an effective strategic communications plan.
Initially we provided an assessment of String Theory’s PR needs and opportunities. We then developed a plan that was affordable because of its collaborative nature and customized to the time and budget the client could commit to. We developed a press kit, media list, pitch letters, and story ideas for select media. We also examined social media opportunities and helped develop blogs, Twitter and Facebook accounts.
The success of our initial campaign (a sell-out performance and substantial media attention including radio, TV, print, and online) has led to an ongoing relationship with String Theory. We continue to work with them with a combination of mentoring, strategy and pitching new angles and campaigns. Their most recent performance attracted a top management team and they are in the growth mode. We are delighted to be their PR partner.
